Rodney Loeb has specialized in the intricacies of
business and securities law since the beginning of his legal career. Rodney served as a judge advocate officer
during the Korean War in-between earning his L.L.B. and L.L.M. at Harvard
Law School. He joined the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and
Exchange Commission in Washington, becoming Legal Assistant to an SEC
Commissioner in 1958. Leaving public service in the early 1960’s,
Rodney was admitted to the California Bar in 1961 and entered private practice.
specializing in SEC matters for several years. He has served as General Counsel
for two large publicly traded corporations listed on the American and New York
Stock Exchanges. Rodney has been "Of Counsel" to Daar & Newman with emphasis on corporate transactions, securities and insurance law since 1977. Currently he represents private and publicly held companies, and frequently deals with federal and state regulatory departments on his clients’ behalf.
